Haldane (Martian crater)

Haldane is an impact crater in the Eridania quadrangle of Mars , located at 53.1°S and 230.9°W, and is in the area dividing Promethei Terra and Terra Cimmeria . It is 78.7 km in diameter and was named after J. B. S. Haldane , and the name was approved in 1973 by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature (WGPSN). [1]
